AMOS ESTEL FERGUSON

Amos Estel Ferguson, 66, of Rt. 3, Crawfordsville, died Wednesday in Culver Hospital. He had been an employee of American Bearing in Indianapolis, retiring in 1974. Mr. Ferguson was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church at Rossville, Ill., and served as adult Sunday School teacher. He was born in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., on Oct 12, 1909, a son of Rad and Sarah Hatcher Ferguson. Surviving are the widow, Eula; two sons, Wayman and Gene of Indianapolis; three daughters, Mrs. Berlin (Louise) Roy of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Michael (Naomi) Liggett and Mrs. William (Cherylan) Geary of Indianapolis; and 11 grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the J.C. Wilson Funeral Home at Indianapolis with the Revs. James Parker and Marvin Emmerton officiating. Burial will be in New Crown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
